CATS IN CRISIS

To celebrate the opening of Hotel Michele we are bringing together the work of Kavel Rafferty and Thelma Speirs for an exhibition to coincide with Margate Festival of Cats.

The exhibition takes its name from a charitable organisation that once occupied the shop opposite and features works made over the last year by Rafferty and Speirs that represent a shift in direction for both of their practices, from commercial illustration and fashion, to also making work as artists for exhibition spaces.

Hotel Michele is a self funded Studio and Project Space that has been set up by Kavel Rafferty and Roland Ross to facilitate the work of artists, educators and exhibition makers who are looking for support to explore and present their ideas.

Hotel Michele, 231 Northdown Rd, Margate, CT9 2PJ, Kent.

Private View Friday 25th of March. 6pm- 9pm.

26th March - 1st May.

Friday - Sunday 12pm-6pm.

Or by appointment.
